Lunch for your team — modern, with zero accounting overhead

One login per company, individual eater profiles per employee, one clean invoice per month. No Excel, no cash boxes.

Why workplace lunch hurts so much

Anyone who ran the canteen invoice knows the pattern.

Per-employee invoicing

Every month, 60 line items to manually assign to the right people. HR becomes a part-time Excel specialist.

Endless spreadsheets

Who ate today? Which department gets which share? Three tabs, four pivots, one headache.

Subsidies hard to document

Tax-free meal benefit rules and employee contributions — documenting it cleanly for finance is basically a full-time job.

No overview

Which department ordered catering most often? Which location burns through the budget? Nobody really knows.

How Mega Meal solves it

One digital process from order to invoice — without dragging your finance team through hell.

One company login, many eaters

One account per company. One eater profile per employee or per department pool. Every order is cleanly attributed.

Subsidies calculated automatically

Every order is split into company and employee share immediately. You set the rule once — we handle the math forever.

Monthly aggregated invoice

One invoice per month, with every order broken down by department, employee and subsidy share. Goes straight into your accounting.

Stripe Connect, no stress

The caterer collects payment directly via Stripe Connect. The company gets the aggregated invoice. We never touch the money — you always know the path.

What the system actually does for your company

Features that are live today — no roadmap, no marketing fluff.

Four payment models per location

Direct payment, split (company + employee), salary deduction, or "company pays everything" — switch per institution without renegotiating contracts.

Subsidy rule per category

Soup fully subsidised, main course only €3 subsidy, snack at full price. One subsidy rate per category, the engine calculates on every order.

Group eaters by department

Groups (departments, teams, sites) have their own closures, their own allowed categories, and their own admin.

Order cut-offs per weekday and product

Mondays 10:00, Friday meals require Thursday 14:00, sushi needs 48h lead time — all cascading: product beats category, category beats institution.

Cancellation cut-offs separate from order cut-offs

Order by Monday 8:00, cancel until Sunday 18:00 — two independent deadlines per weekday, product, and category. DeadlineType::Cancel is its own axis.

Auto-order per employee

Eaters set a category ranking ("always main, fallback salad") and excluded weekdays. Auto-order skips public holidays and closure days automatically.

Bulk order for events and trainings

Admin picks a date, a product, and the employee list — the system creates orders for everyone at once, checking deadline and closure per eater.

Salary-deduction export as CSV or PDF

Aggregated per employee, per month, with name, date, employee share, subsidy. CSV into payroll, PDF to HR.

Stripe Connect custom account

The caterer collects directly; the company only gets the aggregated invoice. Stripe Connect with fees:account — no extra PSP contract for the company.

Allergies and diets per eater

Eaters store intolerances and diet tags. The app shows a confirm dialog before ordering; auto-order filters non-matching products.

Variable, not flat — a fair alternative to Sodexo & Edenred

Classic meal-voucher providers want monthly flat fees, minimum volumes and locked contracts. Mega Meal bills per meal actually ordered — what isn't eaten costs nothing. You keep control over subsidy, budget and switching providers.

Example: Company pays €4 of a €6 menu, employee pays just €2. Mega Meal splits automatically — the caterer receives €6, the monthly invoice clearly separates company vs. employee contribution.

Common questions from companies

How do subsidies work for tax purposes?

Every invoice line shows company and employee share separately, so you can document the meal-benefit value and book it correctly in payroll. We can't replace tax advice — but we hand you clean data.

Do we need our own caterer contract?

Yes. Mega Meal connects you to caterers in your area, but the contract runs directly between you and the caterer. We're the platform, not the middleman.

What does it cost the company?

Zero platform fees for the company. The caterer carries the per-order cost. The company only pays its subsidy share of the meals.

Is this a Sodexo alternative?

Yes. Unlike Sodexo, Edenred or Pluxee, Mega Meal has no minimum volume and no flat fees. You only pay for what's actually eaten — and the caterer keeps a bigger slice.
